How to create a wallet?
1

Select language, fill out the captcha and read and agree to the Blender Wallet Agreement and Terms.

2

Specify if you want to use two-factor mnemonic and specify a password for it's encoding if yes.

Two-factor seed phrase is protected by the password, this means that to access your funds both mnemonic and the password are required. Therefore, even if your mnemonic gets compromised, your funds are still safe until your password is kept secret.

3

Save your mnemonic phrase. Pay attention that we do not store your mnemonic so if you lose it or compromise to the third party — you lose your funds. It is strongly recommended to store your mnemonic encrypted and best of all on the device that is not connected to the Internet.

4

Confirm that you have saved your mnemonic.

5

It is strongly recommended to enable Two-Factor Authentication. 2FA protects your wallet from hacking whereas doesn't affect your anonymity.

To set up 2FA download 2FA app from the app store that you have on your device and enter there the displayed 2FA token. Or scan QR code. The app will start to generate short-term one-time codes that from that time you will need to unlock your account and to broadcast transactions.

Congratulations, you've successfully created your wallet. Now you can unlock it and begin using Blender Wallet.
